Hi! Welcome to the Diluvian, my blog of style and hyperhidrosis. The outfit I'm wearing today is a great example of how complicated living with HH can be. Jeans, a t-shirt, and sandals, no-brainer right?
Wrong. So wrong.
The jeans are white, which is problematic because I tend to blot my hands on my pants all day long. And wet hands attract dirt like nobody's business. So I have to make sure all day that I'm blotting on my shirt instead of my pants, or I end up with muddy patches on my thighs. Gross! One upside of these pants is that their cropped. If I wear full length pants with sandals, the pants end up getting wet on the bottom. Crops and ankle pants are great!
That means my shirt needs to be absorbent - no polyester or synthetics - and it needs to not show sweat. This shirt is cotton, and from my favorite ice cream shop from back home, which makes it a double win. But the bright red changes color if it gets damp enough. You can't tell from the picture, but it is a heathered red, thankfully. Even a little texture or pattern like heathering goes a long way towards obscuring the boundaries of a sweaty spot, so it's not as bad as it could be. Plus, I'm just working indoors in the AC today, so it shouldn't be too bad.
My sandals are by Born Open Concept. They're some of the best sandals I've ever found for HH, and I'm going to do a full review of them later. They desperately need cleaning though! Can't have my favorite sandals getting the stink too quickly.
